Gary T. Iscoe
Founding AttorneyGary Iscoe has been practicing law in Florida since 1991. He founded Iscoe Law Firm in 2020, after having worked at prestigious law firms such as Gay, Ramsey and Lewis, Fish and Neave, Kane, Dalsimer, Kane, and Sullivan & Kurcz. Over the course of his career, Attorney Iscoe has handled thousands of Florida accident cases, recovering millions of dollars for his clients.
Gary played an instrumental role in a 2018 personal injury case which changed the training of tractor trailer drivers nationwide. At first glance the case seemed futile due to the difficulty in proving negligence, but eventually through careful research and investigation, the case grew into a lucrative settlement for his widowed client. Beyond the dollar amount, the Defendant Trucking Company was required to provide a written apology to the plaintiff. In addition, the defendant was required to implement three safety training programs, specifically enforcing drivers to address the safety issues contributing to the wreck. As a result of this case, Gary knows tractor trailer drivers will be required to use additional safety precautions, on the roads making our communities and interstates significantly safer.
At a young age while in High School, Gary was already gaining experience in the legal field by interning for 3 semesters, for the Honorable Antonio Olivieri, New York City Councilman. Gary knew his goal was to pursue a legal career. Upon graduation, Gary volunteered for the U.S. Army and completed basic training in Fort Jackson, South Carolina. He then went on to Legal Clerk School at the US Army Institute of Administration in Fort Benjamin Harrison, Indiana. Graduating with honors, his superior officer immediately placed Gary at the Staff Judge Advocate’s Office, in West Point, New York, where he served for two years. After his tour of duty in the Armed Services, Gary enrolled in the City University of New York, Hunter College. During his four years at Hunter College, Gary attended night school, while also clerking at two prominent New York Law Firms. It was during this time that Gary worked on the well known Polaroid vs. Kodak case, a multi billion dollar patent infringement case of the Polaroid camera.
His college accolades include graduating Summa Cum Laude in 1988 and President of the Hunter College Debate Team. Gary moved to Miami to enroll at the University of Miami School of Law and continued to work in the legal field at the Law Offices of Richard Hardwick. Gary graduated from the University of Miami, College of Law in 1991 and has never stopped representing clients in need. A proud member of the Florida Bar, today in his practice, Gary focuses on his clients’ well- being with the understanding the healing process requires the need for clients, as Gary likes to put it, “getting back to their daily lives with the necessary compensation to do so”.
